Due to all the mountains in Norway, there are a lot of amazing waterfalls.
Many of them are available by car, others you have to search for up in the mountains. Some
you can walk into and even under others are made available by bridges and walkways, and
they are all free to visit. In this section we have collected some,
more to come

Rivers & waterfalls
A mountain river with crystal clear
water, several drops and amazing
colours. Filmed in the mountains of
Western Norway, in Mjølfjell.
Norway has many beautiful water-
falls. Juvefossen, which is located
only four km west of Geilo - is a
hidden gem, especially during the
snowmelt every spring. The waterfall
receives water both from Ustevannet
and from the rivers by Hallingskarvet

the water masses passing under the
bridge are often large and
fascinating.
If you take the Flåm Railway to
Myrdal and walk back towards
Vatnahalsen and head down a few
of the serpentine turns, you pass a
huge waterfall
One of the most amazing activities
you can attend when visiting Flåm,
is to rent a bike in Flåm, bring it
with you on Flåmsbana to Myrdal
and ride it back to Flåm. you follow
the river and pass some beautiful
waterfalls
Geilo has many beautiful mountain
trails and this is one of the best. You
meet both deserted mountain
landscapes, rivers and waterfalls,
steep gorges and forests on your
way, with some fantastic viewpoints
over Geilo and Ustedalen
Skjervsfossen is two waterfalls next
to each other, with a drop of over 150
meters. They are located near Voss
in Western Norway and a popular
tourist attraction.
Steindalsfossen is a spectacular
waterfall and rest area located 2 km
west of Norheimsund. It is one of
Norway´s most visited - not because
of its size, it is only 20 m high - but
because it is possible to walk behind
the waterfall without getting wet.
A spectacular step bridge over
Vøringsfossen, which makes it
possible to walk over the 182 meter
high waterfall. Here we explore the
lower part of this huge tourist
development with walkways,
benches, stairs and viewpoints
Vøringsfossen Waterfall is propably
the most spectacular waterfall in
Norway. This is a visit to the
magnificent viewing platform at the
top of the waterfall.
