The Norwegian Scenic Routes is a huge development project conducted by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. Here, Norwegian architects are allowed to create spectacular buildings, bridges, viewing plattforms, public toilets and resting areas along the country’s most spectacular roads. The project has caught international attention and has been thoroughly presented in international design and architecture magazines such as Wallpaper. The projects are avaliable all over Norway. A paraglider flying over the stunning Stegastein viewpoint several times in beautiful weather with Aurlandsfjorden and the Unesco World Heritage site of Nærøyfjorden as a backdrop.
Atlanterhavsvegen is an amazing stretch of road, known from the latest James Bond Movie (No Time to Die). It is voted both the Norwegian Structure of the Century and The World’s most beautiful Road Trip.
Skjervsfossen is two waterfalls next to each other, with a drop of over 150 meters. They are located near Voss in Western Norway and a popular tourist attraction.
Steindalsfossen is a spectacular waterfall and rest area located 2 km west of Norheimsund. It is one of Norway´s most visited - not because of its size, it is only 20 m high - but because it is possible to walk behind the waterfall without getting wet.
A spectacular step bridge over Vøringsfossen, which makes it possible to walk over the 182 meter high waterfall. Here we explore the lower part of this huge tourist development with walkways, benches, stairs and viewpoints
Hardangervidda is the largest national park in the Nordic region, spanning over an area of 8600 km2. In this video we cross Hardanger- vidda Mountain Plateau twice - first in summer, then we return just after the first snow has fallen in the beginning of October.
For visitors, crossing Hardanger- vidda Mountain Plateau in winter is quite an exotic experience. On this video, we cross Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau in a beautiful day, just after the road reopened after a winterstorm.
The Stegastein Viewpoint is a piece of impressive architecture located about 30 min with bus from Flåm and has a magnificent view over Aurlandsfjorden from 640 m above.
Vøringsfossen Waterfall is propably the most spectacular waterfall in Norway. This is a visit to the magnificent viewing platform at the top of the waterfall.
