As mentioned before, Norway has in total 1732 named fjords which makes the Norwegian
coastline one of the most densed areas for fjords in the world. We obvious have not explored
all of them, but give you a selection of some of the most beautiful ones, like the
Hardangerfjord and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden. We are expanding this
section contionously

The Fjords
In a normal year, more than 100
cruise ships visit the village Eidfjord,
deep in the Hardangerfjord. In this
video we present Eidfjord and what
to do here for cruise tourists and
other visitors.
We visit Eidfjord, one of Norway’s
busiest cruise ports in winter when
it is quiet and calm, and when the
snow covers the steep mountains
by the fjord.
Norway is famous for its fjords, and
has more than 1700 to choose from.
In this video we visit some of them,
but enough to show you their
beauty.

The Hardangerfjord is the 5th
longest fjord in the world and one of
the most beautiful with all its towns
and small villages. In this video we
try to give you an impression of the
different places along the fjord.
Steinstø Frukt & Kakebu - or Steinstø
Fruit and Cakes in english, is a small
cafe and shop located by the
Hardangerfjord. Here you can buy
fresh fruit and farm products from
the farms in the area and enjoy
traditional Norwegian food and
cakes in the cafe.
Nærøyfjorden, an UNESCO world
Heritage Park with amazing
mountains, deep fjords and great
wildlife. Explore it with RIB boats
and spot an eagles, seals and nieses
(small doplhins). The Trip Starts and
ends in Flåm.
A short stop at Steinstø, along the
beautiful scenic route of the
Hardangerfjord in the western part
of Norway.
Mandelhuset Restaurant in Våge on
the island of Tysnes in Vestland is a
great place for lunch and dinner in
beautiful maritime settings. If you
have a table outside, you are literally
dining on the water and can enjoy
the boats and life in the harbour.
