BRITANNIA, TRONDHEIM

Everyone who has visited Trondheim, have heard

or visited Britannia Hotel. The hotel in the center

of Trondheim has been here since 1870, and after

the total refurbishment it now stands out as the

most exclusive 5 star hotel in Norway. The hotel

widely known for restaurants as Jonathan and

Palmehaven has also been awarded one Michelin

star for restaurant Speilsalen with Bocuse d’Or-

silver medalist Christopher Davidsen.

HOTEL ULLENSVANG, HARDANGER

Hotel Ullensvang is an impressive hotel located

by the Hardangerfjord and just between

Folgefonna Glacier and Hardangervidda

Mountain Plateau. The hotel has 170 rooms and is

known for its swimmingpools, both an indoor

pool and a cool outdoor infinity pool, connected

by a 88-meter long swimming canal.

FLEISCHERS HOTEL, VOSS

The grand old hotel in Voss opened its doors in

1864 and are today managed by the fifth

generation of the owners. It is loated by the

railway station and next to the new Voss

Gondol which brings you up to the ski slopes.

GEILO MOUNTAIN LODGE

Geilo Mountain Lodge is a 10 room small hotel. It

was refurbished by the former owners to a

exclusive English countryside manor, and

reopened as a hotel with the new owners some

years ago. It is often used for celebrations of

many kinds

An impressive fairytale timber hotel in Skodje,

half an hour drive from the Norwegian city of

Ålesund. The place Bill Gates stays at when

cruising Norway.

SOLSTRAND HOTEL & BAD, OS

Solstrand Hotel & Bad is a luxury hotel 30

minutes outside Bergen, Norway. It is located

directly by Bjørnafjorden, a beautiful Norwegian

Fretheim Hotel is the historical hotel situated

next to the end stop of the famous Flåm Railway

in Norway and close to the Unesco World

OPUS XVI, BERGEN

Opus XVI is a luxury boutique hotel with 65

rooms in the center of Bergen. The hotel is a

homage to Norwegian Composer Edvard Grieg

and is managed by one of his decendants. It is

mentioned as one of the best hotels in Norway

at the moment.

LOSBY GODS, FINSTADJORDET (OSLO)

Losby Gods was converted from a manor to a

hotel in the late 1990’s, but have over 300 years of

industrial history. The hotel is today a conference

hotel and used often as a wedding venue. The

main building is from about 1850. The hotel has

today 70 rooms, 12 conference rooms, a

restaurant and a summer cafe.

HOTEL BROSUNDET, ÅLESUND

The design hotel in Jugend style in the center

and by the canals in Ålesund is known for its

enormous fireplace.

HAAHEIM GARD, TYSNES

The western part of Norway has, as a tourist

destination, become very popular. The interest

representation villa, the Rjukan Admini

building was converted to a small hotel with 15

rooms in 2015. It is also part of the UNESCO

World Heritage Center.

in the center of Stavanger. In addition to the 11

rooms, it is home to the two star Michelin

restaurant Re-Naa. The building from 1937 is a

great example of Norwegian functionalism
