In addition to tourism, Bergen is the shipping capitol of Norway, with many leading shipowner companies. It plays a major role in the Norwegian oil and gas industry and the marine sector. with 65 rooms in the center of

Bergen. The hotel is a homage to

Norwegian Composer Edvard Grieg

and is managed by one of his

decendants. It is mentioned as one

of the best hotels in Norway at the

moment.

Admiral Hotel has, as the name

indicates, something to do with the

sea. With a location at the

waterfront of Vågen in Bergen,

magnificent view over Bryggen and

Zander K is a new design hotel in

Bergen which opened in May 2017.

The location is central, just 50 m

from the railway station in a newly

redeveloped area and close to the

Citypark (Byparken) and Lille

locations in Bergen. One step

Storm Kitchen and Bar lies in the center of Bergen. The location is as good as it gets, amoung all the theatres in Bergen, and only a few steps away from "Den blå stenen" (The Blue Stone), the very centre of Bergen.
