indicates, something to do with the
sea. With a location at the
waterfront of Vågen in Bergen,

Zander K is a new design hotel in
Bergen which opened in May 2017.
The location is central, just 50 m
from the railway station in a newly
redeveloped area and close to the
Citypark (Byparken) and Lille
Lungegårds vann (the city lake).
Hotel No13 may have one of the best
locations in Bergen. One step
outside the door, and you are at
Torgalmenningen, the very center of
Bergen. When you enter the hotel,

center of Bergen. The location is as
good as it gets, amoung all the
theatres in Bergen, and only a few
steps away from "Den blå stenen"
(The Blue Stone), the very centre of
Bergen.
Bien Snackbar is located at
Danmarksplass, a few stops with
the light train from downtown
Bergen. The restaurant is known to
have some of the best burgers in
Bergen, and is always crowdy.

At the top of hotel Scandic Ørnen
you will find the restaurant Roast.
Use the lift from the hotel lobby and
go to the 13th floor. Here you have
an amazing view over Bergen in two
directions, both the city centre and
the Bergen Valley.

Lysverket is located by the Kode
museums, overlooking lake Lille
Lungårdsvann in the heart of
Bergen. The restaurant opened its
doors in 2013, by a chef with back-
ground from top restaurants in New
York and a pop star from Bergen.
Colonialen Litteraturhuset or
”House of Literature” lies in the
middle of Bergen. It is a hidden
gem, tucked away on a cobbled
side street, close to the famous fish-
market. It may be slightly hard to
find, but well worth it.
Bare is the first Micheln Star
restaurant in Bergen. It recieved its
first star in 2020: The restaurant is

Bergen, visit Mount Ulriken. This is
the highest mountain in Bergen
and has a spectacular view over
Bergen and its surroundings.
Access with new (2021) gondola lift
Fløibanen is a funicular which brings
you from the center of Bergen and
up to Mount Fløyen. Here you have
an amazing view of Bergen, a
restaurant and cafe, playgrounds
and a lot of hiking tracks.
