In this category we present places that we recommend you to visit for different reasons, some are strange, like the sun mirror in Rjukan, others inspiring, like the busy fish market in Bergen or the historic lighthouse in Lindesnes - both because it was the first lighthouse in Norway, but also because it is the southernmost point of Norway. We recommend Gaustatoppen - a mountain top where you can see 1/6 of Norway - and where you can both walk to the top or catch the amazing funicular and tramway inside the mountain. Svalbard is a Norwegian Arctic group of Islands between 74 and 82 degrees north - probably as far up north as it is possible to travel for most of us (if you are not on an expidition). In his video we present interesting facs about Svalbard.
The Olden River is one of the most beautiful salmon rivers in Norway It is located in Olden, a major Norwegian cruise port in Norfjord. The river ends up in the center of Olden and is easy to spot for visitors and cruise tourists.
Gaustatoppen is one of Norway´s most famous mountains. On a clear day, you can see as much as 1/6 of Norway and all the way to Denmark from the top.

A visit to the new Olympic Museum in Norway, which moved from Haakons Hall to Maihugen in 2016. The museum celebrates the two Olympic games that Norway have hosted, Oslo in 1952 and Lillehammer in 1994.

Rjukan is located in a narrow valley, where the sun disappears in the city in September and stays behind Gaustatoppen until March each year. To give the inhabitants a glimse of the sun earlier, a huge mirror was installed at a mountain ridge at the northern side of Rjukan in 2013.
